You can start your kid on a Strider from as young as 18 months old, or as soon as they can walk confidently. The bike is good for kids up to 5 years old.

Do not start them on training wheels, for they will never let you take those away again. Training wheels give a false sense of competency and will hamper their learning severely.

Ride a bike alongside them or show them a video of kids on balance bikes, and they will instantly understand what to do. They should then be brought out frequently to enjoy their new found “freedom”. In no time they will discover how to walk, to run, to glide and balance the bike for longer distances. With consistency it may take only days or just weeks to master the art of balancing!

Start them young and start them right. Start them on the Strider Bike!
