At 780gram, Bianchi’s Specialissima frame changes the game in the ultralight frame category thanks to the use of MSC's patented Countervail® integrated vibration cancelling system for cycling, developed for NASA by Materials Sciences Corporation. The new Bianchi’s Countervail® ultralight carbon formula is specifically tuned to smooth out the inherent nervousness of ultralight frames (*Black version frame, 55 size, +/- 5%).
Excellent traction and stability at high speeds makes Bianchi's Specialissima ideal tackling different types of surfaces during fast accelerations and super high-speed corners when maximum power and control are essential.
Countervail® cancels vibrations that affect performance and transfers your full energy into power. A super fast and reactive climbing machine with unparalleled control and precision in the descents. Specialissima perfectly combines the historic Bianchi name together with the future of cutting-edge Countervail® technology.
BIANCHI CV INTEGRATED VIBRATION CANCELLING SYSTEM
Bianchi collaborated with Materials Sciences Corporations to develop our innovative and exclusive use of the MSC's patented Countervail® integrated vibration cancelling system for cycling. Countervail® is a patented viscoelastic carbon material with a unique fiber architecture that cancels up to 80% of vibrations while increasing the stiffness and strength of our carbon frames and forks.
Countervail is embedded within the layup of Bianchi CV high-performance models: Specialissima, Infinito CV and Aquila CV.
PROVEN IN NASA AEROSPACE OPERATIONS
Traditional passive damping in frames using superficial rubber inserts and isolators are marginally effective compared to the integrated carbon Countervail® system developed by Bianchi for cycling and proven in the extreme conditions of NASA aerospace operations.
Back in 1885, the address of Eduardo Bianchi’s workshop was 7 Via Nirone.
The Via Nirone is one of the original endurance race geometry bikes that pioneered this category over a decade ago. Riders seeking a quick and comfortable day in the saddle will find it aboard the Via Nirone. It utilizes our proven K-VID (Kevlar Vibration Isolation Device) vibration damping technology in its carbon fork, a triple butted, hydroformed aluminum frame, as well as BAT (Bianchi Active Technology) to optimize the rider’s sitting and pedaling position on the bike.
Geometry shared with the Infinito allows you to steer confidently at speed, stay relaxed while riding faster and farther with more comfort. Endurance Racing bikes are performance road bikes made comfortable, not comfort-oriented road bikes.
For the love of the ride, the sun on your face or a shared mid-ride coffee is a few examples of why cycling is a lifelong sport. Your entry to the sport should make a statement. One that says you love a 135 year old, deeply rooted story about a historic bicycle paint color and a little Italian named Fausto Coppi who raced against the odds of war, the peloton- through the hills of the Italy, winning the Giro d’Italia five times.
Your passion for the ride continues on in the Bianchi Intrepida. The Intrepda is a monocoque carbon fiber endurance road bike that keeps your rides fast, fun, and competitive while not breaking your bank account. With 28c tire clearance, internal cable routing you can hammer away on your next gran fondo or take the final pull to the finish for your group. A full carbon fork and tapered steer tube keep the steering reactive and stable as you carve up the high speed descents on your next club ride. Riding on a wheel base longer than our Extreme Racing series of bikes and with a slightly slack head tube angle, the Intrepida offers the rider stability when the road gets rough and the crosswinds rip across the farm fields during your mid-November rides.
With a decade of R&D behind our Endurance Racing line of bikes, the Intenso marks a new generation of all day riding performance for gran fondo and sportive riders.
The Intenso is a monocoque carbon fiber endurance road bike that yearns for any road surface you can throw at it. With 28c tire clearance, internal cable routing and K-VID technology in the fork and seat stays, you can hammer away down dirt farm lanes and chip sealed roads as you hunt for the next Strava segment.
